Additional Booklet

I have run out of pages on my Passport. How do I apply for an Additional Booklet?

Submit Form No.2 duly filled-in, with your address proof in Karnataka.
Your passport, along with two photocopies.

If the passport was issued from any other passport office, it is necessary for us to get confirmation of your passport particulars form the original issuing office. Alternately, we can issue the booklet on production of 3 documents (out of the 14 listed) under the new guidelines. The earlier option of waiting for the local police report continues to be available.

The additional booklet will have a validity of 10 years, irrespective of the remaining validity of the existing passport. The fee applicable is Rs.1000/-.

Note: The existing valid passport will be cancelled with a “CANCELLED” stamp on the first page, at the time of acceptance of your application and returned to you. The Visas on the old passport continue to be valid, but you will have to carry both the passports during your travel.
